The electricity one was also made of awesome/despair. Incredibly, that's the second person I've encountered in my three years of grading who honestly believed that electricity could be viewed through a microscope - it's beginning to worry me. O.o
It's not quite as bad today - the wind chill is only negative thirty-goddamn-four. I'm going to be spending a lot of time walking through the Tunnel at the uni today (ordinarily I avoid it due to the incredible creepiness of it, it's pretty safe during the day, and I figure the odds of my getting frostbite outside are higher than the odds of my being attacked today).
