Too cold! [28 Nov 2006|01:05pm] [ mood | frozen ] [ music | CBC Radio ] Holy crap! There is currently a wind chill of negative forty here. Negative forty. That is in no way civilized - temperatures like this shouldn't be allowed. I have decided that there is no way in hell I'm going outside today. Seriously, I don't care if my house catches fire, I'm not leaving (in fact, if my house catches fire I might be able to get warmed up). This is bloody ridiculous - even my dog doesn't want to go outside. O.o In other news, I finished all my bloody marking yesterday. They all did pretty well actually, but not so well that there wasn't some unintentional hilarity, which I will share with you now: 1. "Even though in this world of ours there is an abundance of different deities, none of them hold presidents over another" 2. "Demea cannot handle these so-called blasphemous statements stated by Philo, and has to leave the room to relieve himself." 3. "And for anyone who has not studied electricity under a microscope to the point that they could actually see "electricity" itself, which is a large portion of the entire world, has no concrete and infallible reason to believe in electricity. 4. "Skepticism may exist as a principal..." I think my personal favourite is number two, just for the mental image of Demea shitting himself over Philo's blasphemy.
